My Daily Dose of Motivation
Have you ever had a “go-to-person” for personal motivation?
I mean, some kind of “psychological elixir” that would
inspire you to make each day better than the last.
Let’s face it, even if you got the world’s best idea
at the right time and at the right place, if you’re not
motivated to act on it, it’s nothing.
This is my one secret why I’m always able to make
sure that I’m in constant motion for improvement
and change.
And do you know who my daily dose of motivation is?
Les Brown.
The guy is a walking bag of hard-core motivation!
Just thinking about this legendary speaker gets me
all pumped up for the day’s action.
Well, if you knew the things he has gone through
and the adversities he has overcome, you’d surely
understand why the man is as solid as a rock.
Just imagine growing up as a black kid with no education
beyond high school during a time when being both black
and uneducated were tantamount to being viewed as the
‘Missing Link’ in Darwin’s Theory of Evolution, he has
learned to survive by the sheer power of his guts and
determination.
Because of his circumstances, he had to strive harder
and work smarter than everyone else.
Naturally “hungry” as Les is, he devoured every single
book he can get his hands on and equipped his mind the
best he could with what he could find and became one
gigantic sponge of information and character.
And he has done this every single day of his life up
till now.
Due to these hard lessons that he learned via the real
school of hard knocks, he has developed one idea
that I have come to adapt as my own personal mantra:
“It ain’t over till I win.”
And it’s enough to make me strive harder, work
So if you want to get a dose of Les Brown to get your
ass all geared up, pumped up and ready to rock, go
check out this video of him:

You would want to stand on the shoulder of this one
heck of a giant!
Anyway, enjoy the rest of your weekend and have a
great day.
Tim Mai
P.S. Watch out for a video I’m blasting out on Tuesday
about one of my rare encounters with Les Brown.
It’s going to be a real treat for everyone.
